He had three marriages/partners. His first wife was Mary "Polly" Trimble, who he married in BEF 1816 in Bourbon Cnty, KY. Their four known children were Isaac Trimble (1815-1894), Jacob (1819-?), Matthias Dudley (1823-1895) and David F (1824-?).
His second wife was Sarah Ann Casper, who he married on 17 OCT 1827 in Clark Cnty, KY. Their four known children were John (1829-?), Simon Peter (1832-1880), Evelyn (1833-<1866) and Samuel (1838-?).
His third wife was Elizabeth Faulkner, who he married on 19 MAY 1835 in Grant Cnty, KY. They had no known children.
