He died on 12 JUL 1889 in Grant Cnty, IN.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Naomi Pettyjohn, who he married on 14 JUL 1843 in Ohio. Their six known children were Mary A (1833-?), Margaret Josephine (1848-1920), Isaac C (1851-1880), Zephaniah (1853-1910), Adney (c1855-?) and William (1861-?).
His second wife was Kathryn Brougher. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were John (1842-?), Stephanie (1845-?), Adney (c1855-?), Elmer E (1858-?) and William (1861-?).
